Do you ever just talk to God? You know, many folks never pray unless it's to ask for something. Some never pray at all unless there is a crisis or emergency in progress; but God wants to hear from you every day. Try setting aside time every day just to praise and thank Him for the many blessings in your life..and we each are blessed in many ways. Also, try just talking to Him as you would a friend. There is a walking trail at work where we can spend time exercising on our lunch hour. As I walked along today, I talked with God about just every day things that are going on, and as I enjoyed the beauty and solitude of the trail, I praised Him for the beautiful things He has created in nature for our enjoyment. God wants to hear from you, too and not just when you have a need. God wants to be your friend and what do friends do? They talk and share with each other.
