Interesting passages PamyJo  This is telling of the conversion of Paul to Christ. Paul was a well educated man and was devoted to the old law of Moses. He had thought the way that was being taught by the apostles was going against the laws of Moses. By attempting to stop the followers of this 'new religion', he thought he was doing what was expected of him. In verse 15 But the Lord said unto him, Go thy way: for he (Paul) is a chosen vessel unto me, to bear my name before the Gentiles, and kings, and the children of Israel. Paul was chosen of Christ to bring in the Gentile nation which had been prophesied many times in the O.T. At this time, the Gentiles had not been brought in.  |

Yes he was zealous in his persecution of Christians. He had to literally be shaken to the core to understand what he was doing. You have the answer Barb, right in front of your face. Sometimes we can't see the simpler things for the details.  |

I know that he was a witness to that stoning of Stephen but I do feel that what happened to him on that road caused him to change radically. |

posting Bible passages is fine. But, shouldn't you follow it up with a commentary about how, and why it means something to you? Also, didn't Saul, become Paul? One of God's best disiples?  |

And no I cannot follow up on a commentary because every time I do it starts a problem. What I am trying to do is to get people to READ THEIR BIBLES. Whether it be the KJV or any other versions, just read your bibles. |

I know of people that had animalistic behaviors that were transformed. Tempers that could be violent yet are as gentle as lambs today. Nothing short of a miracle to some, but to Jehovah nothing is impossible. |

Very good post pammyjo, even today, men/women are persecuting those that follow Christ, instead of going to the new covenant that God Jehovah has given us, ,they cling to the old convenant and wish to remain blind of what God has so freely given us.  |
