Cheddar-Apple Bread
*Ingredients :
2 cups all-purpose flour
2 teaspoons baking powder
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 cup packed light brown sugar
1/2 cup margarine or butter, softened 2 eggs
1 teaspoon salt
1 cup sour cream
1/4 cup milk
1 1/2 cups diced dried apples
1 cup (4 ounces) shredded Cheddar cheese
Directions :
Preheat oven to 350F. Spray 9x5-inch pan with nonstick cooking spray; set aside.
Combine flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt in a small bowl. eat sugar and margarine in large bowl with electric mixer at medium speed until light and fluffy. Beat eggs and vanilla until blded. Add flour mixture to margarine mixture alternately with sour cream and milk, beginning and ending with flour mixture. Beat well at low speed after each addition. Stir in apples and cheese until blended. Spoon into prepared pan.
Bake 50 - 55 minutes or until toothpick inserted into center comes out clean. Cool pan on wire rack 15 minutes. Remove from pan and cool completely on wire rack..
