If a Pitbull bites should he be put down? Bain (the pitbull) has been growling at his owners for a few months now. They did take him to the vet and found out he tore a ligament in his hind leg. They thought this may be the reason for growling. I think it's something more. Bain bit his dad once in the back of the head but didnt draw blood. Then recently Bain bit his dad on his forearm (protecting his face) left puncture wounds and bruising. (he didnt go to the dr) Bain has only growled at his mom but mom backs down when bain growls where as dad reprimands the growling. They've had him since he was a puppy so dont know what to do.
