Its been years since I have visited,
But I have my reasons why.
I hope you would understand,
That this would be my last time by.
We had many memories,
Jokes and giggles we shared.
We shed tears together,
Comforting each other when no one cared.
Such thoughts eat at my heart,
As tears are the gruesome results.
But what happened that last day,
Well no one was at fault.
My nights have grown more vicious,
Mocking at my endless cries.
This life has and will never be the same,
As I wish every moment for the coming of my demise.
But I assure you that the stars still shine,
But your absence have made it less mystical.
As the coldness grows with strength,
The hurt within me now seems typical.
So I lay down these roses,
I made sure they were white.
Hope they bring to your face a smile,
As I set another prayer for you tonight.
