I pray

I prayed to You both day and night
I thought I knew what was right
I thought I knew what was best for me
I cried to You a desperate plee

I wanted to know that you were there
I wanted You to show me that you cared
I got no answer, not even a sign
I thought I was not apart of Your design

I realize now, my prayers were heard
I realize now, I was absurd
You know whats best for Your plan
I'm sorry for being such a weak man

I love You Lord for all you do
For letting me be born a new
I will follow wherever you go
To You I will never say no

I pray to You to show me the way
To tell me the words that I should say
Guide me through everyday
Help me keep sin at bay
