Someone today asked me who I was. I sat and thought long and hard about the answer. And this is what I told him.

I am the girl that sits in the corner of the bar quietly watching people dance and interact with everyone else. When someone confronts her she is shy, and does not know what to say. But you get a few drinks in her and she is the life of the party. She knows how to laugh and have fun, but not until someone comes up to her and asks her to dance.

I am that girl you see sitting in your office, quiet shy, but works hard, and rarely gets noticed. But once you get to know her and get her talking you find out that she has led a very interesting life and met many interesting people.

I am that girl you see sitting downtown with a book in her lap and she is just writing away. That girl you are almost intrigued but never take the time to say hi.

I am that girlfriend that gives and gives till it hurts and then gives again. The one where when you come home dinner is done house is clean and she is waiting with open arms to see how your day was, without starting to talk about hers.

I am that girl that you see driving down the road singing while she is driving, but as soon as she pulls up next to you she stops singing and just smiles at you and drives off again.

I am the girl you see walking down the street with one of her friends and her friend is just laughing so hard he\she almost cant walk.

I am that girl that wants to bring joy to everyone’s life. Wants to see no one cry or be upset or sad. The one that will make herself look like a ASS just to make you laugh with no thought of what other people might say or thing.

I am that girl to a friend that they can always turn to when there is a problem in a relationship, work, or in their own mind. She will sit and listen contently until you ask what she believes is right or going on. Then she will give you her honest opinion no matter how bad it will hurt, because she wants only the best for her friend.

I am the girl you see walking down the mall that just kind of blends in with everyone. Not very pretty but has a radiance about her that makes people smile, but they never come and talk to her.

I am just another girl lost in the sea of faces in this world. Maybe some day I will be noticed maybe some day I wont be. No matter what I know who I am, I know what story’s I have and the life that I have led. Its up to everyone else to see if they really want to get to know this girl.

(Yeah I know a few of my friends will beg to differ on some of these things but that is because you guys are my friends.)

I am just a shy girl with a lot to say and a lot to share, that everyone just smiles at and keeps going.
