Hi Crystal: I'm not an expert when it comes to the "other side" but I've had dead loved ones come to me during the middle of the night and all that I do know is that when they really do come to you (and you have known and loved them while they were alive) YOU WILL KNOW IT FOR SURE! My grandmother passed away when I was about 12 years old. At that time death and everything about it scared me senseless. When I was about 17 years old I kept on having recurring nightmares about my grandmother sitting up in her casket and laughing wickedly and then she would shoot my boyfriend with a gun. A few months later I awoke in the middle of the night and it was like my eyes popped wide open. I tried to shut them but they would NOT close. My brain wanted me to hide my head under the covers but I was unable to hide from my fear. My eyes were drawn to a golden light at the doorway to my bedroom. There stood my grandmother with her walker wearing her favorite dress and looking so beautiful. She had a nice smile and she said to me "It's o.k. my girl. Everything's o.k.!" I got such a feeling of relief from this experience. I had been feeling guilty for having had sex with my boyfriend. While my grandmother was alive (I was 11 or 12) she always used to think that my cousin and I were experiencing sexual relations with boys and she was not afraid to voice her opinions. I remember being so sad that my grandma had assumed that I was some- thing that I was not! I think that is why I was having those nightmares and that is why she came to me in my dream. To let me know that all was really o.k. and that I was leading my life down the proper path. It also gave me a sense that there is no need to be afraid of dying. I believe that when you die you go to a better place full of peace, joy and happiness. Roxanne |

I get the feeling it is your mom trying to contact you. If you are not afraid and open yourself to her she will come. I feel in my heart she wants to let you know she loved you very much. I believe she pressed her hand on your leg to reasure you. Were you thinking of her that day? I have had many experiences of this kind and I just sense she is the one. Illana  |
