My brother married this woman about 7 years ago, and since, his life has been miserable. She has cheated on him several times and taken off for days on end. Her father tells him that the reason she does this stuff is because he is not man enough for her. Once he confronted her, and she told him not to make her choose between him and having fun.
Well, a few months ago she moved out to stay w/ a friend. Whenever he asked her what was going on she would make up excuses (changed the story everytime) and putting the blame on him and my other brother. So my brother suggested therepy. The next day she filed for a divorce. Well they started the therepy and the divorce was supposed to be stopped. The court day came and they went before the judge. The judge asked if there was any way the marriage could be saved and he said yes, while she said no. Then, she began to explain he was her best friend, but she did not love him anymore. (Give me a break)
Now I am the only person in the family who knows he is divorced. He is living with her parents and she still comes and goes. He is still under the delousion he can get her to love him again, and in the mean time she is taking him for a ride. Everyone has tried to open his eyes and help him see what she is doing to him but he will not listen.
My question is, will he ever wake up and see he is better than this? Will someone come into his life who will treat him as he should be? I worry so much about him but am at my wits end because i see how she is destroying him and it seems like he doesnt care.
