it sounds like christ forgave you for all of your sins. alot of people have had christ come to them in dreams, but that doesnt make them a prophet.  |

It appears to me that this was more than an ordinary dream. Let me ask you something? Do you profess to be a Christian? Do you have the Baptism of the Holy Spirit? The gifts of God, including prophecy, come with the infilling of the Holy Spirit. Now, as to the message in your dream...while Jesus was here, the main thrust of His ministry--the main point he kept trying over and over to get across to His disciples and to anyone who would listen is that you must worship God from the heart. It must come freely, of a heart of love and it must be absolutely genuine and sincere. He told us that God is a spirit and all who worship Him must do so in spirit...and in truth. Many people pretend to worship Him. Perhaps they aren't even aware of what they are doing. They go through the motions out of duty or fear...not because they have that deep, inward desire to commune with Him and draw close to His side. Do you understand what I'm trying to say? In proportion to the thousands who go through the motions of worship, very few are actually worshiping from the heart. I'm going to post this before my computer crashes and I lose it.  |

Now as for the last part...."Forgiveness is acquired." Are you sure He didn't say "required?" As in those who are not sincerely worshiping would repent and seek forgiveness? If He actually said "acquired," then it would see He might be stressing that forgiveness is always right there for anyone who comes with a sincere, repentant heart and spirit asking for it. It's acquired..it's a good as done. As for your being a prophet, having such a dream does not automatically make you a prophet. As I mentioned before, you must have the Baptist of the Holy Spirit to move in the prophetic. If you have it, then perhaps God is preparing you for such a ministry. All prophetic dreams do not mean the person is a prophet, though. Sometimes, God out of the goodness and mercy of His heart, just speaks to His children, for encouragement..or to point out something in our lives that needs addressing. |
