Swinging the baby swing, as you walked in. Trusting was so very hard,So far away from the only home I ever knew. You never could have known my fear. Scared to death, to the very core. That I would be left alone, from wher I had come. I grew and grew, away from you. I cried as I gazed out the windows, wishing you'd come back to me. The star so bright, surly to calm my fright. I want to be what you couldn't, and you don't know how that scares me. One day you'll be gone, But I'll always be your biggest fan. I'll still be Daddy's little girl.
