How to make a good grill cheese without the mess~BoomBoom

Most people just take two pieces of bread and butter both sides - getting all messy.

1. Take the two pieces of bread and butter one side each (not all four)

2. Place the one piece of bread butter side down on a pre-heated pan

3. Place two slices of cheese on the bread that is on the pan

4. Now take the other piece of bread and place it on the cheese butter side up

Now wait a couple minutes and take a spatula and check to see if the grill cheese is ready to be flipped. Check by trying to push the bread and if it feels hard (or toasted) then its time to flip it on the other side.

And that is how you make a good grill cheese sandwich without the mess in less time :)

Date: 8/28/2002 8:29:00 PM  From Authorid: 54570    Hmm thats good. I usually use the toaster and brown the bread, stick cheese in it, nuke it for 25 secs and then.... Viola!!! ready made cheese toast. For children just slightly mas down on it some but otherwise enjoy. SmoknJoe

Date: 9/2/2002 9:37:00 PM  From Authorid: 55970    LOL! That's the way my mom makes it. Heheee! It works wonders *Jewel Fernandez*
Date: 9/18/2002 4:11:00 AM  From Authorid: 10245    I can help make this even LESS messy melt a little butter in the pan and slide both pieces of the bread over it... then arrange the first piece with butter side down, start stacking on the cheese and add that last piece of bread butter side up. I hate trying to butter bread... I always shred it because the butter's too hard!
