For the most part it was a good movie.

Staring Mel Gibson as a farm owner, father of two (girl and boy). Everyone kept calling Mel’s character Father through out the movie because he is a retired priest – left because wife was killed when hit by a car. Name Gram.

The guy from Gladiator – the prince - also had a role in the movie.

He character was Marole – Retired minor league baseball player and brother to the priest. Marole at first was a complete skeptic but as the movie progressed he became more of a believer then the children.

The kid's were -

Boe – a young girl that has a thing with drinking water

*forget/boy-looks like the kid from home alone but not* - Who is a complete believer. He is a little older then his sister. He becomes a source of information.

The movie was good but it took to long to build. It seemed like it was all just repetitive information over and over again – building as little as possible.

If someone would to tell this movie in a book without all the detail they would have a paragraph.

They do find crop circles in their farm at the beginning and then UFO’s appear over many cities. Aliens come into play later on in the movie.

The movie basically revolves around finding out what is going on.

I don’t want to give away the ending but it’s interesting.

My personal opinion: It’s a good movie. Its not the movie that you * have * to see, you probably just wont get bored watching it but you want get all crazy watching it. If anything, this movie lacks visual detail. Showed barely anything of the aliens through out the movie.

Mini Reviews :

Austin Powers : Gold Member – if you like recycled garbage go see it.

Men In Black 2 – Pretty good. It wasn’t as good as the first one but it wasn’t bad.

Have a peachy day :)

Date: 8/2/2002 2:37:00 PM  From Authorid: 16376    I haven't seen any of these movies, I need to get out of my house LOL. I really want to see Signs though because I think M. Night Shylaman makes some really good films
Date: 8/3/2002 11:01:00 AM  From Authorid: 58836    i saw this last night. it was great. the ending was well.... different. but quite enjoyable. and scarry.
Date: 8/3/2002 1:40:00 PM  From Authorid: 47618    I enjoyed the movie because it didn't follow the "show them everything because audiences are spoiled and love nothing but special effects" mold. It went with the old fashioned way by giving us a real story with real characters and isolated us from the rest of the world - that's what made it creepy. It was pretty much a reworking of Night Of The Living Dead but minus the living dead and replaced with the aliens.
Date: 8/8/2002 6:42:00 PM  From Authorid: 8817    i want to see it looks kinda creepy
Date: 8/28/2002 9:16:00 AM  From Authorid: 13546    I got creeped out in a few parts of that movie.. one of them.. when Boe came and woke her father up and was like.. "Daddy, there's a monster outside my window, can I have a glass of water?" .. and when they go into the room, Graham spots the "person" on the roof across the way.. scared the crap out of me.. I did NOT like the dog's dying parts...
