Plaster cast impression
Everything I'm not
Lips pursing tight
Strengthens internal restraint
The blinding light
Makes me faint
Grilling tender flesh
Melting the wax
Fears burning fresh
Composure, maxed
Soul secrets spilling
Coals in my eyes
Deep inside distilling
A void, hollowed by lies
Scalding irons
Scaring my skin
This was earned
Shame of my sin
Roughly planted
On the top
Screams frantic
Unable to stop
Kindled wood
Scorched by flames
There I stood
Object of the game
Leaping to consume
Piece by piece
Burning the loom
Unwilling to cease
Ravished by fire
Slapping my skin
I have no desire
To face the end
The sky above
void of hope
Denied love
