Some people don't like reading post that are written with alot of abbrivations. Also it could be what you are posting about. I can't answer for everyone but I reply to anyones post if I find it interesting or I feel like I can contribute to the conversation. Sorry you haven't gotten alot of replies. well sometimes somepeople find it hard to find the words for what they wanna say dearie you have to understand that lots of ppl post here and some times a post may not stay on the front for very long and no one may look around for a post you just have to be pactice is all  |

sometimes people just don't know HOW to reply to the post, if it's advice many would rather stay quiet than give some advice that may not be the best for that situation the viewed things are up also because people come back to see if someone commented to them and if they reply that adds an extra 'veiw'  |

I think every gets posts that don't get many replies. I don't take it personally anymore because I realize that some people can view but not reply, if not members. Others, may just read but not have anything to comment about because they agree. I know this can be annoying but I'm sure no means any offense. Keep writing...   |

I usually reply to things that I can reply to..somtimes I read a story and I don't know how to reply..or it doesn't really involve anything that i've done so I don't really have a reply. I try to reply to as many posts as I can though..I don't get that many replys either...but i'm happy for the people who do reply to my posts.. Also sometimes people like people who will respond to them after they have replied to one of your stories... Hope that helps..Good luck!  |

Maybe some of those who reads the post are from other countries having difficulties writing in english. Other times there can be advanced philosophies or thoughts that's very hard to comment. No reply does not automatically mean "bad post", though some times it might..

Well, everyone has had post that hardly get replies. I have gotton as many as 100 + replies on some post, and then have also gotton as few as 1 on other post. Sometimes people just dont really know what to say. Like for example, say you write a poem. They may really like it, but they just cant think of anything to say. And they just dont want to put "I liked it!" I know that a few times myself I have found a post that I like, but I just cant think of anything good to say, so I simply dont say anything. Or its possible that the person doesnt have time to reply. But either way just give yourself time. Once you have been here for a while, people will start to reconize your name and start replying more .  |

I actually find it quite rude when people don't reply. Some people spen hours on posts, and then they don't alot or any replies. I find that very rude. I reply to every story I read, out of respect, and I post my opion on that topic. i think everyone should reply to a story even if they have no interest in it, or have no comment. Its not all about popularity..its about content, titles..putting your NAME in the title..interacting with the replyers of your posts..You have to put yourself out there..get to know people..reply to their posts and they will return the favor and reply to yours...Let your name be seen all over the site..that way it will become familiar, and if the posts capture their interest they will be sure to check out the posts that have your name on them...VISIBILITY is the key..NOT Popularity!  |

It's all about if the post interests them or not. The title lures them in but then they read the story and maybe they just can't find the right words to reply to it so they don't say anything. I don't reply to everything I read because there are times when I'm just speechless. It's just like if you're in general advice and you can't possibly think of any good advice to give to the person who posted.  |

I've done some posts that have gotten a lot of replies, and some that haven't. I don't think it's a big deal. I figure that if someone had something to say, then they reply. If a person didn't really have anything to say, or didn't know what to say, I'd rather them not put anything than just leaving a nonsense comment. I still can't figure out way some people are so concerned about the number of replies they get. It's not a contest to see who can get the most! And BTW, a know many people (like me) who find it really hard to read posts with a ton of abriviations. Why should I take the time to read and reply to a post when the author couldn't even take the time to type out "you"?  |
