Help with a spirit(or something)

I am having a problem with a spirit.Recently we moved to a new apt. and are having odd things happen.My husband has been seeing a black box looking thing floating about three feet off the ground.It comes out of our daughters bedroom and goes into the closet.The other night my husband checked on our girls and they were sound asleep,about 10 min. later he heard our youngest daughter screaming.He went in the room and she was under her bed with only her head sticking out.I know she did not get out of bed because we put a motion sensor in thier room so will we know when they get up.The sensor did not go off until my hubby walked in the room.Also our scanner has been turning itself up and on.I am currently pregnant and having problems I have never had before.We have been told that this baby was my hubby's son in a previous life and that he could be causing all of this.I know for a fact that my father's spirit comes around and talks to my youngest daughter(she is 2).She has told me things that she had no way of knowing.I would greatly appreciate any help.
