Stay or go?

I have been seriously contemplating a move. Should I make one? I feel the change is necessary. I am a single mother of two. I am very torn and would appreciate any advice you can offer. I am mainly afraid of moving into a situation worse than the one I am currently in, although at times that seems impossible. The two possibilities I am looking at are PA or NC. I feel peace near the ocean but jobs are difficult to find there and I worry about childcare where ever I go. Anything you can tell me would help. Thank you in advance for caring enough to reply.
