some questions reguarding ,coma patients and there dreams and lucid dreams

i was siting at home the other day spaceing out yet again asking my self all of life's questions, and then it came to me do coma patients dream??? i would belive there would be only one way to tell are the patients in rem??? rapid-eye-movements, well lets just say they do dream ok i do not know if you know what lucid dreaming is but it is when you become conscious within your dream basally your aware of the fact that your inside a dream. well ok what do you think would happen if a coma patient was in the coma for about lets say 15 year's its possible! maybe even longer. well would would happen if a coma patient became Lucid within there dreams????? i mean wouldnt they be really confused??? hehehe i know if it was me ill be like hey dude how long i been asleep for??!!!! darn it!!! haha anyway i thought this was interresting.... thanks for reading this bye
