The traps from mans enemy

The traps are:



1. ANGER: every body has a spirit of anger, but it is uncontrolled anger that entraps us. EPHESIANS 4:26-27 ...be ye angry but sin not.... Jesus had anger, but it was not out of control. MATTHEW 21:12-17.. When uncontrolled anger becomes wrath then it is sin. JAMES 1:20...wrath of man worketh not the righteousness of God.... Anger causes us to speak words that we have to repent over. My spiritual mom use to say throwing anger words around is like throwing wood on a fire. When you quit throwing words around the fire of words will cease. PROVERBS 15:1...a soft answer turns away wrath, but grievous words stir up anger... Only the Power of God can get our anger under control.

2. LUST: James 1:13-15; tempted when man is drawn away of his own lust, and enticed...[read all of these scriptures] God tempts no one. Lust blinds the spiritual eyes of any one who falls in this trap. 1 JOHN 2:15-17.. lust of the flesh...1Peter 2:11 ...abstain from fleshly lusts which war against the soul... Man falls into this trap when he loses a hunger for God and His Ways. Man is seeking something to satisfy his desires. This trap has destroyed homes, destroyed children and even destroyed men and women. Many times they have not seen it as a trap of Satan.

3 THE LOVE OF MONEY: 1 TIMOTHY 6:10; the love of money...It is not money that is evil, it is the Love of money. From this trap Satan sets more traps. Greedy Spirit: the more you have the more you want, never satisfied. Will get more at any cost. Greed PRODUCES IDOLS: money creates idols. Many have idols and do not realize it. They begin to love things that money can buy. Again it is not a sin to have things, it is a sin when things have us. God is who we worship, no other gods. REVELATION 3:14-19&;[a church of wealth that did not need the Spirit of God] REVELATION 3:7-13.. .. a church in revival...[they worshipped God, Him and Him alone]. MATTHEW 19:16-26 ...the rich young ruler...[his wealth had a hold of him]. PROVERBS 11:28; he that trust in riches shall fall.... AGAIN IT IS NOT MONEY BUT THE LOVE OF MONEY.

4. DECEITFUL: 2 CORINTHIAN 11:13-15...false prophets MATTHEW 7:1..beware.. [Satan has his own prophets speaking the lies of Satan] JOHN 8:44 That is why a Child of God MUST let the Holy Spirit teach them the Truth of Gods Word. Stay filled with the Holy Spirit that when a lie is spoken He can reveal it to you. Many that have known God for years are being deceived in these last days. Satan tried to deceive Jesus in MATTHEW 4:1-11. Satan deceived Adam and Eve in GENESIS 3:1-6 verse 4 [his lie]

5. IMPATIENCE: a trap that causes one to walk own their own, not waiting on God. Getting ahead of God gets us in trouble ever time. in your patience posses your soul...HEBREWS 10:36...you have need of patience... REVELATION 3:10 ..kept the Word in patience... REVELATION 13:10 and 14:12... An impatience spirit will not stand on Gods Word, will not listen to the Spirit of God, but will move on flesh impulses. That is what gets us in trouble ever time. Impatience is a trap Satan has laid in this modern day of knowledge and fast living. BEWARE OF THE TRAP.

6. JUDGING SPIRIT: This is a trap that opens the door to many other traps. That puts mankind in bondage. Hate, bitterness and the like. Man does not Judge like God, man does not Judge in mercy. PSALMS 50:6... God is the Judge; David knew the difference in the judgment of God and man. 1 CHRONICLES 21:13let me fall in the hands of God not man... Gods Judgment is with Mercy, Compassion, Forgiveness and Love. Judgment of people destroys many times, God;s Judgment lifts and saves

7. UNFORGIVENESS: a trap that is so well hid that many get caught in it and do not really know it. Every body has a reason for not forgiving, but reasons mean nothing to God. Forgiveness is the bridge to God, unforgiveness is the trap that keeps us off of the bridge. Only the Power of God can destroy an unforgiving spirit. Man does not have that power, just like Power to forgive sins, it is Gods Power only. I have seen a Mom come face to face with the man that killed her daughter and forgave him. She said, ;until I let God forgive through me, it was like a cancer eating my spirit away. But when I said I forgive you& the healing began.; When God says you have been forgiving for sins committed against the Father, you must forgive any thing committed against you. That is only done by us asking God to help us forgive. If we do not the longer we stay in the trap of unforgiveness the more we hate and the more bitterness gets a hold of us. When the young man died for his acts she stood there and told him she loved him and he said I am so sorry, and ask forgiveness again. That is Forgiveness in its highest form. Some would say I could never do that. You are right we cannot in our own Power but there is a Power that can do it for you.

8. SELF RIGHTEOUSNESS: 1CORINTHIANS 10:12...take heed.... [this is a trap many church people are led into] Church is not our Salvation, JESUS is. Becoming religious is not serving Jesus. MATTHEW 5:20&;our righteousness MUST exceed the righteousness of the scribes and the Pharisees.... [a religious sect] It was their self-righteousness that put Jesus on the Cross. Self-righteousness looks to man to keep their soul. Self-righteousness sees church attendance, giving, works and etc. as getting their approval of God. As important as those are, NOTHING can take the place of a Personal Relationship with the One who saved our soul. Just religion will not put us in a Personal Relationship with Jesus. We are sinners saved by Grace, not any thing we have done are can do. READ LUKE 18:9-14 also EPHESIANS 2:5 and 9 This trap not only puts souls in bondage it also blinds our spiritual eyes.

9. There are many more traps, like addiction, jealousy and others, that Satan lays traps to get a hand on the soul of man-kind. NEVER take this lightly, Satan does not, you must not. You know you are in a trap when the Presence of God gets further and further away, when you lose a hunger for God and when God is no longer first in your life. Child of God Satan has one thing in mind for you, put a trap in your path to first kill your Spiritual Life and then if possible kill your physical life. But we have a Heavenly Father that is fully aware of all Satans traps, and if we stumble into one, He is there to set us free. READ: PSALMS 116:8-9 and PROVERBS 3:21-2 We may stumble but Gods Word tells us how to keep from falling! Stay in the word of God and stay in prayer.......
