3/4 cup butter - 2 1/2 cups white sugar - 4 eggs - 1 (16 ounce) can chocolate syrup - 1 tsp vanilla extract - 1 1/8 cups all-purpose flour - 1 cup chopped walnuts - 1/3 cup evaporated milk - 1/2 cup semisweet chocolate chips

Place 1/2 cup butter margarine, 1 cup sugar, eggs, chocolate syrup, vanilla, flour and 1/2 cup nuts in a mixing bowl; beat well. Spread batter in a 15x12 inch pan.

Bake at 350 degrees for 25 to 30 minutes.

Combine remaining 6 tbs butter or margarine and 1 1/2 sugar in heavy sauce pan. Add milk, and boil for 30 seconds. Remove pan from heat. Stir in chocolate chips, and beat until thickened. Frost brownies while still warm. Sprinkle with nuts and cool.
