You have a very strong spirit. My best friend as gay and I'm the first person she came out to. I love her and would not change her for the world. GabrielDante, welcome to USM. Emi is such a sweet person and she has such an amiable soul. If she calls you friend, I too will be proud to. Welcome to USM, it is a big happy family. Just like family, we often fight and bicker. We are often tough on one another but we also support each other, love each other and help each other. That's the great part about being family. If you ever need anything another USMer is there. Also, as far as being gay - I see nothing wrong with it. Love is the greatest gift -- it truly is. You should hold it, nuture it and cherish it - regardless - without feeling a need to qualify it. Love is a rare, unique thing. It is such a transient, whimsical entity - it knows no color, no boundaries, no sex, no restricions. When our hearts find love there is no turning back and one should feel lucky if he/she ever finds true love -even once in his/her life. I feel sorry for those who are not fortunate enough to find it or who don't feel comfortable enough in their own skin to persue it and miss out due to societal conditioning. I myself am straight but I completely support your right to love whomever you wish. It takes a strong person to take a stand and to fight for what you believe in. I applaud you for that.
