Terrorism Bill Actually a Good Thing? Well In This Case

I honestly never thought i'd say this but the terrism bill that the canadian gov't passed after sept. 11 is actually making me feel safer somewhat. starting last thrusday my school has been receiving a bomb threat everyday and then starting yesterday they said that sometihng was going to happen on friday. i know this is all hoaxes so i'm not worried. My school is hiring security for tomorow though just incase. Anyway back to my story, well it turns out bomb threats fdall under the terrorism bill. which means that no matter what ure age (cause in canada we have a young offenders act which is if ure under 18 u get a slap on the wrist and ure let go) u can be prosectuted. and anything that falls under the act is a minimum of 6 or 7 years jailtime. the reason i say i'm likin the bill is cause 1) this is right before xmas 2) whoever has teh nerve to call in a threat has some problems and i dont really feel like going to school with them 3) these threats have been screwing me over in school. exams are 5 weeks away and someone feels like closing the school down 2 days in a row and putting us behind and this is the year wherre my grades need to be good cause they re being sent to universities. what do u guys think of the terrorism bills? i know america passed on too aswell as other countries. some of the things in them is ridiculous and i disagree with them but others liek this incident i'm glad are there.

peace, decifer

The security is there for your saftey and if done correctly then you should not know it is there but it will work in the background. I hope you do well in your exams as well.
