I don't think we've talked before, but I know who you are. :D Yes you, who I cannot see behind my own monitor, reading this story. Each and everyone on this site, USMer's we are called, are my friends. You only have to extend a word or two to realize it.
I am here as a friend to anyone that needs, and as for USMer's, whether I've met every one of them or not, I consider you all great friends, simply because many times I have laughed with you, cried with you, gone through changes with you, and when these things happen, there is no way you aren't going to bond with people. With all USMer's there is a very special bond.
In many ways, we all come here searching for something emotionally. It is a wonderful thing to wake up after finding this place feeling like a part of you has been filled, is no longer empty. Acceptance, friendship, family, or just a place to post your stories for feedback, we all find something here, every member does, that we were searching for.
I know after I found this place that a part of me was filled. A lot of you may think it is nonsense, but a lot of you will also realize exactly what I'm saying is true. I try to get friends on here, (friends from real life) and they come on, look at it, and see nothing special. So what is it about USM that is special for us? The thousands of USMer's that join here, and the hundreds of 'regulars' that keep coming here? What is it about this place that fills in us a need? For everyone it may be different, but the story ends the same.
We all found something we were searching for. Our search to fill one empty part of us is over. We are here. :)
