Whoa, strange story, very scary well, if i were you i would write or report the incident in the sims to maxis, maybe try to figure out if its a bug in the game, and see if anyone else has had that happen to them also. About the other happenings (mouse moving on its own, comp turning on by itself, speakers making weird noises) to me it sounds like it could be a hacker, there are many programs out there that enable someone to take full controll of anothers machine without them knowing it, including planting files (like the virus you got) and changing security settings (why you cant access your HD but your husband can). On the other hand, it could have been a virus this whole time, that corrupted your hard drive and made your programs get buggy along with cloning a DOS file. About Paltalk tho, now that is SCARY, i have no idea what could make that happen on its own, not even a virus I think you should reformat your hard drives, and start from scratch, reformatting would eliminate any intruders/hackers, and any bugs or viruses, if the problems still continue after that, try getting your hardware checked, or buying a new machine, THEN if it still happens, id definatly say your machine is haunted. its a very odd coincedence to me that this all started hapening after you played with the ouija board, I wont go near them, and refuse to have them in my house, to me its like leaving my front door open for anybody to walk in and mess with me. I guess im just scared of something like you are describing hapening to me, i know if it was me tho, id have moved far away, and gotten rid of that darn board! -Blink BTW, id like to know what happens when you go on your husbands machine? might be interesting.. |

sounds to me like one major virus. something like a backdoor virus, i.e. back orifice. someone can remotely take command of your puter and wreak havoc. as for the sims glitch, i've played it for about 1000 hours and have never seen anything like that. weird.  |

that is creepy. i joke at work that demons live in my computer and are moody. it will randomly freeze or lock up etc. (I don't think it's haunted i work for a cheap crappy company and the software sucks)   |
