I believe that we are here to learn how to advance to the creator. The things that we do will effect the things that our children do, as far as the advancement to the creator. I don't believe that there is anyone here on earth that has not asked that question at least once. I know that I myself, am still searching for the answer. Good post.  |

I believe that we are all spirits and all parts of God. I believe that spirits are all energy that has been spun off from God. As spirits we are all at different levels of understanding and advancement. We come here to go through experiences in order to learn and hopefully advance. As we advance we move up in levels until eventually (over a long time) we reach a level to return to the source (God) and are reunited in our energy. -Lady Nyx  |

Wec were created to bring honor and glory to our maker, Jehovah. Had Adam and Eve not sinned in the Graden Of Eden we would be in a paradise today, free of illnesses, crime, poverty and ultimately death. Living in ideal conditions having ample food, never having to worry about crime or where the money will come from to pay bills. Even the weather would be ideal, never to hot or cold. Thats the way that things were supposed to be. Jehovah's original purpose for mankind and the earth have not been fogotten. Soon all of this will be gone, paving the way for a new earth and new heavens. The earth will be the paradise that it is supposed to be filled with righteous God loving people.  |

There's lots of replies here but my personal theory is this: we were put here for many reasons, some we know and some we don't. We should help those we can, try to change the world for the better, be the best possible people we can, etc. But the most important THING to do while we're here is...have a good time. If you don't have a good time then you aren't really living. Of course you can't have a good time all the time (religious persecution, grief, betrayal, etc.) but when the day comes that I can't enjoy a good joke with my friends, or appreciate a beautiful day at beach, or I forget how truly lucky I am to be here, well, I just hope someone will put me out of my misery. Because if you aren't having a good time then you *are* miserable. The Shadow Crow.  |
