well, web rings are an EXCELLENT way to get hits for your site. find one similar to the topic of your site and join it. another way is when you see a sight with links and it asks if you want to be added to the list, get yourself added. another way is to post it here. during Christmas, when i had the USM Virtual Christmas Tree (long story...if you REALLY wanna know, msg me) up at one of my sites, i got more hits than i ever had in that ammount of time at that site. another way, though it's efficiency is questionable, is submitting it to search engines. that's all i know to do. of all my sites, my home page has the least ammount of hits...then again...i haven't really been advertising it...LOL!  |
