This certainly underscores eveything an individual goes through when other human beings abuse others because they do not live up to some illusion of what is deemed "important" in life by peers that are out-of-control and lack a sense of purpose and decency in life. Each time I hear of a school shooting, I wonder what was said or done that pushed that individual beyond that horizon of "hope." I've bookmarked this post as it does address a truth that no one wants to accept muchless realize. Thank you for sharing. Antona |

No, thank YOU for your feedback, this is the only poem I've ever written that I can stand back, look at it and say, hey, thats not that bad if I do say so myself. But your right, if kids wouldn't try and shove others over the breaking point, we'd be MUCH better off. |

Well Dark Angel you certainly did a beautiful job of expressing so much of the pain and anguish that school children experience today - you should be proud of yourself - it really speaks to the heart of the problem and brings into clarity what is missing in today's youth.
