These are some poems written by a friend of mine

1.
You are my closest friend
my dream come true
when you are by my side
there is nothing I cannot do.
You are not my lover
no need for you to be
you have seen the anger
and stayed beside me
you have seen the tears
and held my heart
you were the standing stones
that kept me from falling apart
what we have is unbreakable
and nothing can break us apart
for the friendship that we have
will never let us apart.


2.
I had a dream last night
my thoughts are hard to explain
I saw alot of people suffaring
but yet I could feel no pain
I asked what was wrong
but nothing was said
I looked around for answers
only to hear crying instead
the room began to fill
with each salty tear
as I began to look down
I see my greatist fear
the tears then turn to blood
from the wrist ive noticed to cut
I tried to scream for help
But my mouth was closed shut
a thought went through my head
how big it was a mistake
I reach and grab my wrists
just as I become awake.

3.
I look at a mirror
and what do I see
A lonley depressed man
staring back at me
how did this happen to you
Is what I ask him
he does not respond
just stand there looking grim
I go to hit him as he does me
the glass cracks and I see more
quit staring at me
I scream as I hit the floor
look at what youve done
youve cut up my wrist
and with those final words
I slit my wrist.
